Celebrating the Everyday

Originally posted 12/3/08 I realized I haven't been on here as often as say, a couple of weeks ago. I think I was blogging so much because everyday felt like a celebration. Every day that I was able to share the ins and outs of life with my sister and best friend was a day to celebrate. Every first holiday... every little detail - a reason to celebrate and therefore a reason to blog. Maybe I'm getting used to having them next door. And in it's own way this is good. It want them to be an everyday part of me and my life. And God in his infinite wisdom saw to it that this is a reality. Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times over! But even as I get accustomed to dropping in and having the kids play at each at each other's houses, I never want to take it for granted. Everyday doesn't have to be a celebration but everyday I will be thankful. Thankful to the One who allowed a dream of two little girls (only 7 and 8) who prayed to one day to be sisters and one day raise their families as neighbors. Talk about a fairy-tale. This is it!

Oh Judy, that's been my dream for me and my sisters as well. Your thoughts are precious!
